A printed silk scarf caught mid-air against a warm studio sweep

Hand-drawn and printed to the edge

Beautiful enough
to be the whole outfit.

Fifty-two prints drawn by hand. Every one of them hangs in live cloth you can take hold of before you buy it.

Fifty-two designs

The whole run, sideways.

Each one drawn at full size before a single colour is separated. Push it along.

Afternoon, and a square left where it landed
A square is only as good as the way it falls.

Which is why nothing here is photographed flat and left at that. Every design is cut, drawn and weighted to hang a particular way, and you can push it around in live cloth before you commit.

Not a photograph

Take hold of it from here.

This is Bunga Kantan in Saffron, woven and hanging under its own weight. Drag it, drop it, let it settle. A photograph can be retouched into anything; cloth that falls wrong cannot be hidden.

The atelier

Every square is cut, hemmed and folded by hand before it is ever photographed.

The weight of a finished edge is what makes a square fall properly instead of floating. It is also the slowest part of the work and the first thing anyone who knows scarves will check.

Every design, three ways round

Turn it over.

A square looks like one thing flat and another thing worn, and most of what you are buying is the half you never see in a catalogue. Every colourway here is shot from all three sides.

Photograph what you are wearing and all 55 colourways are ranked against it by colour-harmony relationships over CIELAB. The palette is read on your own device. The picture never leaves your browser, no model is called and every result shows the two colours it paired and why.
